Pomegranate seed oil is derived from the seeds of pomegranates,it is organic healthy plant oil refined by pure physical means from selected, unshelled Pomegranate seed. The oil contains 6 kinds of essential fatty acid, which includes Punicic acids, Linolenic acid, Linoleic acid, Oleic acid, Palmitic acid, Stearic acid. Among them, the Punicic acid takes 86%. The Punicic acid is a kind of highly unsaturated fatty acid. Oil possesses antibacterial properties. Pomegranate (punica granatum) is now well known for antioxidant properties. With recent researches the seed oil has been found to be of help prevent the formation of skin cancer by reducing the frequency of lesions and limit the occurrence of tumors. Pomegranate seed oil is ideal in nourishing and improving skin elasticity (especially fine lines). High in anti-oxidants, it is extremely moisturising.

Cosmetic Use:Pomegranate seed oil is commonly used in cosmetic products to revitalize dull or mature skin, assist with wrinkles, and to soothe minor skin irritations. Medicinal Use:Pomegranate seed oil is one of the only plant sources of conjugated fatty acids and it contains an abundant amount of punicic acid, a compound closely related to conjugated linoleic acid (CLA). it may support the immune system, and help the body fight against human cancers, obesity, diabetes, and heart disease.
